We haven’t lived in India for years. But it’s home. Honestly? We took our roots for granted—until we had kids.

As diaspora parents, we realised that our little ones found it hard to relate to our culture— because they don’t see it, feel it, or experience it daily. We tried a ton of books and toys, but most felt old-school, a bit loud, and a lot dated. Formal tutoring? Total chore.

We help diaspora kids learn Indian languages and discover their culture through hands-on play.

We weave play-based learning into everyday relatable objects, set against a diaspora child’s everyday settings. Our goal is to enable learning by osmosis — small nudges at home, in the car, and at bedtime that support playful discovery of a child’s heritage. For parents, we provide a reminder and an opportunity to switch into their heritage languages and have real conversations.

As a mom, I want my daughters to have strong roots and big dreams. If they know where they come from, they can decide where they want to go. Confidently. On their own terms and as their whole selves.
